I just had my tires rotated and balanced for the first time. Does anyone know if I need to re-torque my lug nuts after driving a certain distance? If so, what torque setting?
All of my other cars that had alloy wheels required that they be re-torqued at around 50 miles.
That's about 110 pound feet on a SAE torque wrench. It is always good practice to re-check wheels, all wheels after 1 day of driving. You may be surprised at the results.
