I ordered a 2010 GL350 a couple of weeks ago and I just tried to add the optional 5 spoke wheels with black center with machined highlights. My sales rep at Ray Catena told me they were not available at this time. It kind of wierd because as I sat there with him on the computer adding options, they had stuff that was not even shown on the website like the Adaptive suspension which I got, and a special order interior color that combined black with cashmere, but no wheels. I was pretty pissed because I could go to MB's website and build a car with them on it. Why would MB show a wheel in there "build a car" section but not have it available. They show three different 20" wheels available for the Bluetec and different wheels in different sizes for the 450 and 550 when you build them. I'm not big a big fan of the aftermarket wheels available not to mention the fact that I don't want another set of take-offs laying around my basement
This has me steamed because I'm spending substantial money to begin with and I want the car the way I like it. In my experience if you show customers something on your website you better have it or its going to create a lot of "pissed" customers. This to me is inexcusable for a company like Mercedes. Anybody have similar issues when ordering a new MB or any advice on where to go with a complaint?

MB USA is the place you should address this issue. 1-800-FOR-MERCEDES. Good luck with getting this sorted out. I am looking at a GL350 tomorrow myself.
