Rectify tire pressure.

I just bought a certified 2007 GL 450. I have had it for a week. It is a great drive.

Today I had to reset the remote garage door opener. I think that if affected my TPMS. I have tried to reset my TPMS, but after shutting off the engine, I get "Rectify Tire Pressure" on the dash display.

Is there an easy fix to this problem or does the dealer have to reset the monitor?

The easy fix should be to actually check your tire pressure and correct it to what it should be.

I'd say it's coincidence that this occurred in a similar timeframe as working on garage door opener.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I did fill the tires to the recommended pressures listed on the driver's door. I read in the manual that 2 way radio transmission may interfere with the TPMS. The manual suggested to reset the TPMS after changing the tire pressures.

BTW, when I did check the tire pressures after getting the original message, all tires were at 32PSI. The recommended pressures in the door were 32FR and 38Rear.

Pages 395 and 396 of the owners manual show how to reset the monitor.
