Just an FYI with park sensors

My front park sensors went off today. I was traveling on I-94 from Chicago to the TwinCities and it snowed here and there. A light coating of ice formed on the front bumper and when the traffic slowed to a crawl, the front sensors went off!
The sensors were covered in ice and I finally found out why there is a button on the dash to turn the sensors off.

This is a great driver's car, except for the comand center and lack of gauges.
The little gremlins come and go at will.

Yes it happens to me sometimes in snow the parktronic button is a great feature.
After restarting engine it will start again by itself.

I had the same problem last winter and would switch the Parktronic off but then had to remember I had deactivated it when pulling into garage.
