Labor to install accessories.

I have been quoted the following hours for installiing the following accessories.

Do you think the dealer is being reasonable?

3 hours for the iPod kit.
2 hours to install and balance 4 20" tires
3 hours for illuminated door sills.
1 hour for rear mud flaps.

Thanks in advance.

ipod kit

That's about what I paid for labor. It was well worth it. I paid for the 6 cd changer but it was a waste of money. All I ever listen to is the ipod and all of the controls are right on the steering wheel with a display in the dash. It is sweet.

iPod kit install hours look correct.

Why not have tires done from an aftermarket tire store? Be lot cheaper.

I agree. What's the hourly rate at your MB service dept? I do live in a smaller town, but I've been quoted $65 to remove the sensors from the stock 18's, put them in 20's, mount tires and balance! (The guy was concerned that I'd balk at the $65 number!) BTW, he's not making it up on the tires...I bought the wheels online and the tires will be drop shipped from Tirerack.

Edit: One hour for the rear mudflaps is downright goofy. You should be able to do it yourself in 20 minutes.
