The car pairs first with the phone with which it was LAST paired.
Now what if you have it paired with one phone ? and have the second one in the cradle itself? Which is the Command Operating with ? These are things to test in the real world. I ordered the RAZR cradle with Bluetooth. I will have to report back once my truck is delivered to my dealer from Alabama
Just returned my MB Bluetooth RAZR cradle and swapped back to the regular Bluetooth module. As it turned out, the MB Bluetooth Razr cradle is NOT compatible with any phones other than the RAZR. Go figure!
I'm getting my GL next Monday.:-)))
Which of the two interfaces- Bluetooth or MHI(cradle)- do you think I should get?
Do you know if MHI supports any V600 handset, or should I get a special one?
IMO, the Bluetooth adaptor is the way to go! As others have stated; the Bluetooth adaptor eliminates the hassle of inserting/removing your phone into or from the cradle each time you enter/exit the vehicle (or forgetting to remove the phone when you exit the car)!
Also the adaptor allows you to upgrade your phone in the future with out having to purchase a new cradle.

I solved that problem by having two phones. My RAZR is on my hip all the time. I have a cradle and use the MOTO V557 for the car and take advantage of charging and using the external antenna of the car. I never worry about forgetting my phone and I have the cradle phone forward all calls to my RAZR when I am not in the car. It costs me $9 a month to add the extra line, $220 for the cradle and $49 for the V557 from Cingular.
