The only way to truely tell if, it is a AMG is to get official documentation. A AMG engine cannot really be differentiated by a stock engine cosmetically. A person who has modded car especially, footing out the $ for an AMG car will keep everything in order. There are markings in certain places such, as suspension. Engine components are harder to find out. You could also dyno car to find out what it is vs. stock. That is what I was going to do when, I had my Renntech car. I thought I lost my documentation but, found it. So, I was going to consider putting it on a dyno to prove it was not stock in, case I sold it.
