Our '96 E320 has developed an annoying buzz at speeds above 40 mph. The buzz seems to be coming fromthe dash or just outside the windscreen. It comes in at different speeds, not consistently at any one speed, sometimes it does not buzz at all. I have turned the wiper on thinking it may be the problem, but there is no change. Anyone have a similar experience or tips on how to solve? Thanks.<br> <br> Frank K
Does it sound like a relay buzzing?<br> <br> I recently had my turn-signal relay buzz after a (different) fuse broke, so in my case a seemingly unrelated electrical event triggered a buzzing relay.<br> <br> If that sounds familiar, you might try flipping on turn signal, rear defrost, anything else that you can think of that would trigger a relay, and see if the buzzing stops.<br> <br> In my case, flipping on the turn signal would stop the buzzing. I was assuming it was a defective relay until I found the fuse.
