Spark Plug Gap

My 92 500 SL book calls for a Bosch F8 DC0 plug gapped at 32. Dealer sold me F8 DC4 plugs and said gap should be 40. Can someone please verify this, thanks.

Re: Spark Plug Gap

If you were running on unleaded fuel, then I believe the higher gap would be in order.

Also with unleaded fuel, the plug change out interval, increases to 24,000 miles.

Regards

Col
