Do you know MB inside and out?

Hi,

We are looking to find someone who knows MB models inside and out. More specifically the issues of each chassis from 2005 to present. If you know these cars and you love writing send us a PM.

Well... I started buying Mercedes after having experience with other brands, mainly because I was tired of learning the insides.

We need these articles for an automotive related website. If anyone enjoys writing about MB we can pay $20 per 1000 word article covering a specific chassis. You will need to write an overview of that specific model then some pros and cons plus a section on common problems.

We need articles on W164, W204, W212 and a few other models.

If you know these cars and would love writing about them let us know.

That is a pretty long list there. Can you try and narrow it down to what type of car? 2005-2016/2017 Just in 4 door sedans you can

talk about a C,W203,W204,W205.E W211,W212,W213.S W220,W221,W222. 9 Chassis just in 4 door Sedans. Then you have 4

Door Coupes such as the CLA, C117 and CLS, C218 and C219. We have not even touched SUV's(GLA,GLC,GLK,GL,GLSML,GLE,G), 2

Door Coupes/Convertibles(E Class,CL,CLK,SL,SLK,SLC,S Class, SLR, SLS, AMG GT) or the Maybach lineup yet(V240 57,62 and

W222 550 4M/600). And I almost forgot to even mention the B EV

Well, if we are opining on what to avoid, I am no longer confident in the longevity of any cars with can bus or magical electronic sensors. Working on a 15 year old car is discouraging, in that quality and software are turning out to be junk. These cars (since 1996) are not going to have lives beyond 20 years, as there will be few who are willing to invest large buckets of money to solve electrical issues and sensor failures. The mechanicals will be just as robust as much older cars, but there will be no value in owning or repairing them to a point they will remain on the road.

I seem a host of 1996 to 20004 cars piling up at Pull a Part yards with expensive electronic issues but in fine mechanical condition. The newer Benz buyer is asian and of the mindset that once the ashtray is full or enough cascade failure in the electronics takes place the car is not worth owning. Anybody down the line is deterred from owning it because the repairs are beyond the value of the car.
