MAF Sensor

I Just Recently Bought An Aftermarket MAF Sensor For My 2000 C230K. After Driving With It On The Code P0170 (Bank 1 Fuel Effenciecy) Came On. After Taking It To The Shop They Cleared The Code And Clean The MAF Sensor. After About 15 Miles The CEL Came Back On. Their Pro Opinion Was That The After Market MAF Sensor Was Not Compatiabke With My Car. He Suggested I Get A MAF Sensor From The Dealership.

My Question is, Will It Make A Difference To Get A Brand Name MAF Sensor Like Bosch Or Go To The Dealership?...The Sooner I Get The CEL Off The Sooner I Get To Smog It.

Yes it will. Please get a Bosch from a reputable seller. Not a Bosch clone from eBay.
