NC is pretty barren. I have looked at a number of 560SEC's here and also up in NYC when I work there and people are delusional, believing their maintenance deferred dog is worth 8k or more. I have yet to find one that is actually in decent shape. In fact, most are complete dogs and should just be parted out. Sun damage is a huge issue down here (faded paint, practically bleached interiors, steering wheels and dashes as dried as bone) and up north it's rust. North and south the engines are usually in rough shape, rear ends sagging with SLS that has been ignored, etc. etc. Oh yes, brakes that are WAY overdue! I could go on and on.

I don't need to buy a 560SEC. I want to. So I'll be patient. No rush. If this one happens, great. If not, there are more out there.

A 560SEC is not a car I would buy sight unseen. I'd try to get eyes on it, if at all possible.

If you think sun damage is a problem in NC, just try TX.
