Over the last 50 years, I've had a variety of different colored cars. My first was a pale-colored Impala convertible, and I wish I still had it. There were several other blue and green sports cars, a red Lincoln, and a variety of other luxury cars in different shades of gray/silver.
For the past 25 years, however, all the vehicles have been shades of white. I find it's the easiest to keep clean, least apt to show dust/dirt, and, IMO, is the most elegant. To me, black can also be quite elegant, but only stays clean for a day or two before showing dust. I'm just too compulsive for that.
When out on the road, it's always best to watch out for Pot holes, Sink holes, and those other Holes!
