Does anyone have step by step head removal for 2000 clk 320 particularly how to remove rockers n lifters properly no mixture in the dipstick no water outta the tail pipe i also need a new radiator could that be the culprit
No help on the head work, but a couple of thoughts to consider.
My understanding is that the head gaskets on the 320 are robust and usually are not a factor.
Is the engine running a normal temp (87C)?
On the other hand the radiator can deteriorate and leak transmission fluid internally. Usually that will translate to trans problems. Does your trans shift normally? You can sample the trans fluid to see if contamination is occurring.
Does the reservoir level change? How about engine oil level?
Can you pressure test the cooling system?
Perhaps a drain and refill might be a useful first step. Cheap and simple DIY.
Tell us a little history on the vehicle. Miles, maintenance, etc.
Skippy
