I mean that the M115 4-cyl petrol, M123 6-cyl petrol, M110 6-cyl petrol, OM615 and OM616 4-cyl diesel and OM617 5-cyl diesel will bolt onto your transmission. Bigger engines such as OM352 will require a different transmission, and newer engines from W124-series will require a different transmission.
The OM617, M123 and M110 will also fit into the Unimog with its existing transmission position - no need to move it forward.
Then again, I know the W123, W124, W126 and W202. Don't exactly qoute me on the 'Mog.
W202 C250 Diesel
, OM605 NA engine, 5-speed manual
, OM617 NA engine, 5-speed manual, rev counter
, not gone, never forgotten...
- it's more than a name, it's a life choice!
