Why are parts so incredibly expensive here at dealers or independent workshops?
Example. Fuel pump for my 2003 C240. Benz Canada wanted something like $800. An independent garage wanted a mere $500. I bought the part in California for US $180. And yes, the original Bosch part, not a fake. From eBay.
