2016 amg gle 63s coupe

Hey so I ordered the 2016 amg gle 63s coupe the other day and noticed the tires are summer only. Why would they not be all season? I'm looking at driving the car in the north where winters can be bad. I can't find anywhere online that has replacement tires all I see is summer only in that size. Anyone with some insight on this would be great.

Thanks

What size are you looking for? I would recommend going a bit narrower and getting set of wheels for winter use only with some Nokians.
I work with the local Nokian distributor here in Milwaukee and I am sure we can find a size that works.
They make full snow tires all the up to 21".

Well this is what the car has and I'd like to stay with the original size.
Front: 285/40-22
Rear: 325/35-22

its a huge tire yes.

Having "grown up" in Detroit, MI. I have been advised, for years, that narrower tires provide better traction. The suggestion that purchasing new wheels and "snow" tires is best option, IS the best procedure...if initial cost is affordable.
