Doctor or not, I would never have a ppi done by the mechanic who has done the services/repairs for the seller. The mechanic has no obligation to you but may have other cars that he works on for the seller.
I would find a independent Mercedes shop for the ppi. I had a post purchase inspection done about a year ago at a reputable Mercedes indy and was charged $100. That was on a w126 though.
At the mileage listed in the ad, I would make sure the spark plugs and wires have been changed.
Does the w210 4matics have the same setups as the w163's? If so, check on when the differentials and transfer case have been serviced.
Also make sure that all the doors lock when you use the remote. The vacuum system for the doors run from the PSE pump. It is a pain to deal with if it has issues.
