hi guys,i will be changing the thermostat on my 2000 e320 cdi at the weekend,i will be saving as much anti freeze as i can but wondered if there is any type of anti freeze that i can safely mix with mercs own anti freeze

Zerex G05 is approved by MB for your engine. Not sure if the Pentosin Pentifrost is, but it is worth checking on your side of the pond.

It is worth a call to the dealership as well. Mercedes coolant is not that expensive but I have found that it is cheaper depending on the dealership.
