95 c280 shifting weird and loss of throttle response

I posted in the 202 section also just thought it might common on other models so here is what's going on along with some time if I put the gas to the floor it takes a few seconds then real slowly starts going or in reverse on a slight incline it barley makes it. Tourque converter? Also ever since a dead battery it has been shifting weird. Some times won't shift unless I let off the gas and shifting from 1st to 2ed it jerks you forward a bit. The harness has been replaced 2 yes ago coils look new and I changed the plugs, code is for MAF changed that and get the code still and no improvement in any of the problems. Thanks in advance, Jim
