Can I safely drive a car with blown head gasket?
I have a V12 that is only running on 10 at the moment, cyl 11 and 12 has absolutely zero compression (all other cylinders ok, 120-150psi). There is no water in coolant or vice versa, so my guess is that the head gasket is blown between the two cylinders(?).
The car runs good enough to drive, obviously there are some vibrations and power loss, but engine temp is steady and no other warnings.
I plan to drive it to my indie, but I want to be sure that it will survive the trip as it is around 300-400 miles. I could hire a trailer, but then I also need to hire a big enough car to handle all the trailer weight, and I don't have a license to drive that caravan legally...
Will I(it) be okay?
