Which MB cars have the best visibility for short drivers?

I currently drive a CLK 320 and I feel it has excellent rear visibility especially when I'm changing lanes etc (I'm 4ft11).

I have driven other vehicles where I felt almost blind and unable to see anything even with the seat raised up. I had an old C class as a loaner before (maybe 7 years ago) and it felt like a box; couldn't see anything at all when changing lanes. Drove an old S-class for a few minutes (not sure what year) and could not see anything whatsoever. Drove a late model Honda Civic recently and could not see anything either because of the headrests which are fixed and block the rear windows.

Which Mercedes year/models have the best visibility? Other makes ok too if you know any cars with exceptional visibility.

My wife is 5 ft tall. She drives a GL450 and is fine in it. Before that her car was an E55 AMG.

She would definitely be able to see everything!

This one belongs to the son of a couple in my car club. I brought it out to the restaurant we were having lunch at a couple of years ago. Not the easiest gears to shift.
