Seat adjustment problem following EIS replacement

I have just had the EIS module replaced following a complete failure. EIS was replaced by main dealer for just short of £600. Vehicle is a 2002 W203 C270 estate.

However, the drivers side electric seat has now gone completely crazy; none of the controls for the seat give the correct movement of the seat - in fact pressing some of the seat controls cause the steering wheel to move. (the car was like this on collection)

Has anyone experienced this? There is one post on here with identical symptoms but no confirmed fix.

Dealer advised that this was likely a independent coincidental fault, but I can't help but think something has been programmed incorrectly.

Any guidance appreciated. Sean
