I would start with a good wash and then a clay bar, multiple multiple passes.
If that doesn't do it I'd move to a cleaner wax, something like Turtle wax. Again, try a few times.
If that doesn't do it I'd go to polishing compound. Here, more elbow grease than you think you'll need.
If that doesn't do it, a very mild abrasive rubbing compound.
Once you get it off, clay the area, then wax it with a good wax.
