Mass air flow sensor clips

I hav a 2004 Clk 500 and I am trying to change the crank position sensor but my eyesight is not very good and I cannot see how the metal clip releases on the backside of the mass air flow sensor to remove for access.

Any help would be great

Can you post a picture of the area the MAF is in. If it the type I thinking of, there should be two metal clips that need to be popped up and the MAF should come out. Not sure though since I have not owned a mercedes with that engine in it.
