That model had the trap oxidizer, a costly device that had a tendency to fall apart and toss debris into the turbocharger, killing it.
When it happened to us, circa 1990, the bill was ~$4000; there was an extended warranty that covered it.
I lost count of the replaced water pumps.
Both rear window regulators.
Nonetheless, we kept it for almost 10 years...
