Holding off on Service

Hi!
I'm the owner of an A180 and my service clock for the B1 service alerted me for service to be conducted on May 7, 2015. Unfortunately, my work shop does not have any available times until May 21, 2015 (I booked it this date). There is another workshop but it's $300 more expensive and I'd rather avoid going there.

The car has driven around 1500 km since the last service May 7, 2014. Total meter is less than 2500 km all-in-all.

My question now is: is it dangerous to wait 2 weeks with the service and have it done on the 21st? Will this impact my warranty?

Thank you so much!

You will be fine for two weeks seeing as how low the kms are since the last service.

Ditto on not worrying adding few more days as seems you are safe mileage-wise.
I only wonder what kind of program require 2 services before car reach 2500 km or 1500 miles?

Driven that little it is good to get fresh oil in there along with brake fluid.
Once exposed to air and combustion gases even oil with low miles should get changed after a couple of years.

The theory about oil oxidation never got confirmed in real life.
I had several engines in different machinery that had the same oil for 8 years just fine.
In dry climate I don't hesitate to keep brake fluid for 5 years.

I will respect this member's privacy, but what I can say is that you live in vastly different climates.

Although I only drive my 107 an average of 1,000 miles each year, I still change the oil yearly. It's hard for me to believe, however, that waiting two additional weeks would be either harmful to the car or place the warranty in jeopardy.

When out on the road, it's always best to watch out for Pot holes, Sink holes, and those other Holes!
