New-to-me GLK250 Bluetec

Just got home yesterday with our 2014 GLK250, first M-B I've ever owned or driven. Awesome performer! Snorted up a sustained 8% grade without shifting down from 7th at 107 KMH in cruise control.
Ours has the AMG 20" wheels and trim upgrade. I find the road noise a little pronounced over rough pavement. Has anyone else found this to be the case?

Congrats on the new GLK.

In many cases with such large wheels there is less sidewall to absorb uneven road surfaces. Also if they are run flat tires they will be noisy.

Some brand/models of tire are more quite than others but it will take some research by reading lots of online reviews to see what that tire might be.

What brand and model of tire does the GLK have on it now?

Ah! I see there is no spare, just a little 12V compressor. Must be run-flat tires. They are Dunlop Grandtrek Touring A/S MO, 235-45-20".
I'll need winters on rims here in BC in the fall, probably look for aftermarket alloys in an 18 or 19". But with no spare I'll have to stay with runflat I guess.
