Combination switch won't stay

My left turning signal in the headlight is not working and the signal switch handle won't stay down? I have c240 2003. The left mirror and tail light signal work when I hold the handle down..all other functions of the combination switch work fine. Any insight would be appreciated.

It is time for a new switch. I wish I had a quick fix, but it is all one unit.

The safest way is to disconnect the battery. That way there is now electrical power to fire the airbag and you also will not get an SRS warning light once it is all put back together and you can then connect the battery.
