It took me ten years to find out that MB dealerships all have loaner vehicles. But when you make your appointment tell them FIRST that you need a loaner vehicle. They will schedule your appointment around the availability of their loaners. Now in the case of an emergency....you may have to call a friend or a car service. I have some lovely new rims that I want installed (need new tires/tyres too) but my appointment is for 2 Dec because I need a loaner. I use the loaner service a lot because the dealership is 40 miles away and it normally takes at least a week with the SL, longer with the S (I had a GLK for a month, loved it and will probably end up buying one in the future (see thread about me washing my loaner lol).
