Smile One Source for all your Vin Decode Datacard Needs for Mercedes Benz

VIN decoders sites come and go every few months.

I wanted to share my site that has the list of the current MB VIN decoders.

Instead of remembering wired links to have one central location.

Just go to:

mercedesmedic.com/decode

Mercedes Medic Do It Yourself | VIN Decoder Datacard for Mercedes Benz MB

So bookmark this link.

Any time a reliable decoding source becomes available a link will be posted on the site.

Yet ANOTHER Russian website.
I would NOT trust any Russian website.
The entire world is being hacked by the Russians followed by the Chinese.
Trojans, Virus, Phishing, Stolen Data, back door intrusions are started and hosted by Russian and Chinese websites.

I don't think so. I own MercedesMedic, as far as I know I live in US. 45 min from Washington DC and host my site in US servers. To me it doesn't matter where the vin decoders are hosted as long as they are legitimate and useful. And I haven't had any problems with any of the websites I have linked.

The purpose of the above link is to keep a list of reliable VIN decoders for MB on an easy to remember url

The site does have links to Russian sites that are great decoding sources. But if you have issues with Russian websites no one is forcing you to use them. There are other alternatives listed in there.

You can LIVE in USA and be re-directed to another website, without your ever knowing about it.
Any hosting from within Russia and China is not "reliable sources".
Cybercrimes values, from within the borders of Russian AND China, are in the Tens of Billions of US Dollars.

What may seem Innocent with a specific website may prove to be more trouble than it's worth.
Minutes after logging onto a Russian Host Server, the Cybercrime Network within Russia and China are
hacking into a reliable website, Stealing Credit Card Numbers, Stolen VIN, Rebranding Vehicle Titles, Stolen VIN's, then
recoding Smart Keys, Medical Information, Personal Life Data and even Corporate insider Information.

This is not to have an argument with you, just reminding folks, ( in today's fast Internet world ) to SLOW down.

Be careful which websites you visit, what information you willingly give away, without nary a thought.

I don't want to assume that any Russian/Chinese site is untrustworthy. Especially a parts site with a vin decoder. If someone was trying to steal VINs and personal info there is much better places to do that, trust me.

But to make you happy I am going to add the epc startekinfo.com to the list. I am guessing that's the only site you trust.

I've been using Russian sites for a decade just fine.
US EPS is more precise, but will not allow to copy the pictures, nor page.
Than Java installation on older computers is additional issue.
Here is the site that will help in finding parts numbers.
cmitch and hilarushi like this.
