Question Need German help

Hello fellow Benz owners,

I bought a German registret Benz from a German man that lives here in Sweden, Where We both live. The issue is that the fahrzeugbrief went up in flames with the rest of the sellers, the german mans, house and now i/we need to get a new one so I can import the car in to Sweden. Now, can anyone tell me Where we should turn to get a new fahrzeugbrief?

And second, what is the procedure now the cars allready is in Sweden?
-heard that the car maybe should have been thru TüV in Germany recently or before import/export. Is that true I Will be in a bit of a situation, the car has been in Sweden för several years and latest TÜV i can find in the papers is 2006

Hope some of you guys kan help me,

Danke and Thanks

Simon

You should probably contact Reichstransportministerium (sorry, couldn't help it).

Most often German officials want to see the car before issuing plates.

Tell us a bit more about the car, are you sure it would not be better to sell it for parts?
