Service Message

I had my 2011 E350 cabriolet in for service 3 weeks ago. Am getting a message "B5 service overdue (15 days, now)". Agency is a long drive away and very time consuming. Can I reset it? How?
I have tried a couple of suggested procedures and I can temporarily get a normal display, but the service message keeps coming back.

Maybe it needs the service. I never trust that servicing has been done when getting a used car.

You can find instructions to reset the service reminder from Startekinfo: STAR TekInfo

but as above, it might need service first.
