B250 winter floor mats

I have been promised a set of b250 winter floor mats by my dealer. It has been almost a year since they promised me them but still no mate in sight. They keep telling me that they are not available due to a 'safety issue'. Anyone else experiencing this run around?

Yes, was told the same thing last week when picking up my new car. And they have no idea when it will be available.

To keep carpet clean from snow slushes and salt.

Hi,
I was also promised a set of B250 all-weather floor mats by my dealer. For me, it's been about 8.5 months (picked up my new 2014 B250 on Feb 3, 2014). Each time I asked when the mats would be available, I was given a different excuse--on the day I picked up my car, I was told they were out of stock; a month or so later, I was told there was a protest in Mexico (where the mats were being produced). Another couple of months later I was told the developers are re-designing the mats, so production is delayed. 2 days ago, I called my sales guy again and this time he told me the mats are not being produced. He offered me a trunk tray instead...which I picked up yesterday. I then contacted MB Canada about these elusive floor mats, and received the following response:
"Currently there is no floor mats available in North America for the B-Class, CLA250 and the GLA and there is no recommendation from the factory on when they will be available..."

I live in the lower mainland in BC, Canada and wet weather is coming our way. Must find some winter mats soon!

When I bought my CLK years ago, the dealer gave me 2 sets of floor mats. Over the years, I have been using the summer ones but not the winter ones.

For winter, I use my 15 years old "Pants Savers". These rubber floor mats are wider at the sides with deep grooves in the middle to trap snow and water. The MB winter mats are the same size as the summer ones and do not hold much water.
