Thumbs up Unknown Dial In Engine Bay

Hi all,

Im a new member to Benzworld I own a W210 E class E320 Elegance.
Ive attached some pics of a dial located in the engine bay.
Does anyone have any idea what it is? and what it does?

looks like a air filter gauge. They are used to determine when you need to replace the air filter by measuring the resistance of air being drawn through.

hey,

Thanks for replying.
I was tinkering and turned it all the way down, when it got stuck.
Will my dumb ass tinkering cause any performance issues or anything else I should be concerned about.
I have never come across something like this before so excuse my ignorance.

The Center Knob shows an Arrow pointing Counterclockwise rotation

AND there's what looks (In your Picture) like the start of a Mercedes Part Number.
"A 000 " the XXX XX XX portion of which is cut off.
If you could get the entire part number,and post it. It can be looked up on the EPC
[Electronic Parts Catalog] and Much more will be revealed!

Location: 32(degrees) North by 81(degrees) West
