Invoice for the replacement parts

I had some major work done on my GL450 from a Mercedes Dealer Service.
Do I have any rights to ask the service department to show me the invoice for the parts replace on my car?

The parts should be noted on your invoice, aren't they?

If you are asking about the dealer's invoice from Mercedes for the parts they used, then yes, you have every right to see it...presuming, of course, that you own the dealership.

Invoice

Yes, all parts are noted in my invoice but does it guarantee that these parts are actually replaced? The reason I want to confirm because I had doubts from the very beginning of this repair and something led me to believe that way.

Why do you think we do the repairs our-self?

I am not sure about Texas, but in my state as the owner I have the right to ask for every broken/defective/worn out part the dealer or any licensed shop replaces to have it back. They have to give me the replaced part. If they do not then they have to remove the price and labor for replacing that part from the invoice.

If the retail invoice doesn't convince you, why would the wholesale one?

This is the rule, if not a prescribed law, pretty much everywhere in the US.

Of course, you have to ask for the parts to be returned before you leave, and best to do so when you drop the car off, otherwise the dealership will dispose of them in the normal course.

It doesn't sound like the OP did either of those. Rather, it's over and done with, and whatever the dealer did, there's no way to prove it now anyway. As FBI has suggested, assuming they are acting fraudulently, they can dummy up any paperwork they like.

In my case I have them enter it on the work order when the car is dropped off so it is on the copy of the order I signed and the service adviser signed that I get.

Indeed. Presumably, the dealership in question did something to shake the OP's faith in them, and I don't see how a piece of paper could restore that. I suspect there are deeper issues here.
