How much wattage drop before bulb out warning?

in general is their specific percent of wattage drop needed before get the warning messages?? or does it vary from main/dipped beam, sidlights and fogs etc

my 2 front sidelight leds are 1.5w, work fine but with error/blown messages, original were 5w so a drop of 3.5w

i want to replace my H3 fog lights with led so not sure what to go for, standard is 55w

You need to use LEDs with built in compensation resistors
