Revealing gearbox trouble codes through OBD2

I've recently got an ELM 327 OBD2 scanner and a 38pin to OBD2 adapter as my 2000 W202 c240 does not have an OBD2 port (I could not locate it anywhere). The software I use are PCMScan and Scanmaster. I can get lots of information about the engine but that's all. I can't see if there's any problem with automatic gearbox. DO you know of any free or paid application that will also show the drive terrain troubles? Is it possible?

None of the ELM software out there will access MB proprietary transmission fault codes. It may list a generic one, but nothing specific.
