I think the best place where I could go a 100+ would be on I-15 on my way to Vegas.

Idk if my E430 Sport is limited at 130 or 155. It came with W rated Goodyear tires originally. If I have a limiter, how to get it off??

130 mph with cruise control on. Photographed. Two observations:

* NO way this was anywhere on a US freeway.

* Ticket about to be issued for 'distracted driving'.

Ok, please tell me an interstate or any roads or empty runways in Los Angeles which is empty most of the time very less cops and traffic where we could speed a bit. I really want to let my car off the leash. Thanks

I drive through Germany at quite high speeds in both the SL and CL doing 150 where possible, in this shot I thought that I would take a picture, but by the time I got the camera out of the case I was running out of road

Think again
130 mph on wide US freeways is slow when you move to US straight from Germany, where all autobahns are only 2 lanes, much narrower than US roads.
As long as you find a state with no left lane idiots.

There are none. I envy these guys and the ridiculous speeds they have driven. Even if there is an empty road for a few miles, there is probably a cop in the vicinity. I wouldn't want to risk it.

Seriously, we got V8s which are capable of high speeds and we just can't enjoy them fully. I have never had the guts to go ever 95 but have pushed mine to 97mph and had to slow down in fear of a cop.

It is unfortunate that with crime on high rise, streets shooting become daily news, lot of departments are sending cops to make easy money on running radar traps.
At least in CA we do have laws limiting the traps. In Oregon I have seen Toyota Prius in red parked on the shoulder and whenever a speeding car was coming the driver door would open and hand with handheld radar would pop.
Have you wonder why Fiat 500 are becoming so popular here lately?
