scratches/cracks on inside of windscreen

Hi all, i'm a new MB driver but this question isn't MB specific.
The image below are of some cracks/ scratches on the inside of the windscreen,
i noticed one just after i bought the car in November but i seem to have quite a few now. I have no idea what has caused them, how to prevent them and if they are dangerous. if anyone had any info it would be appreciated.

i had them on my last car which would seem to suggest that i am causing them. Could it be when i use the de mister? the heat maybe. I am not very car savvy.

That is something I have seen on rear windows that are electrically heated.

Last car was a Citroen Berlingo. It had almost identical scratches/cracks

I think that you will find it is that, the marks are where you constantly wipe the glass

Titanium will scratch windscreen glass. It is a lot harder than the windscreen material.
