1987 190D Electric Woes

Have about gone crazy with a couple issues. I removed the dashboard on my 190D to replace a heater core. After reconnecting all the plug ins I have come up with to electrical issues:

1. Everything seems normal then about two or three hours later the right parking lights come on and eventually drain the battery. I have replaced the master light switch twice with no change. The lights come on even when the fuses are removed....I mean like all the fuses. I noticed that the illumination is lower than when I put the switch in the right park position. Someone told me that they remember this being some kind of signal of another problem but I have never found anyone who can verify that. Had a master mechanic (non MB) keep the car for three months and he couldn't figure it out.

2. When I turn on the blower fan, it will run cut out and then start up again. It does this continuously.

I sure would appreciate any input on these wierd problems.
