I am big fan of slime and have it in lot of my yard equipment and even I share the concerns how to inject stuff into air bag, where the valve is on the top of it, I don't think it would have negative effects. Even the bags are inflated and deflated during normal operation via complicated valve system, slime should stay at the bottom of the bag no matter what and even if some would travel with the air, it should not harm the valves.
I am pushing several oz via open tire valve and simply screw the insert in with no ill effects. for decades.
However if the bag has a crack due the age, the slime will will seal it only to put more stress in another point. Old bag is not going to last.
Fix a flat is another story. It is foamy stuff with propane gas. Don't think I would use this and did not like it on tires neither.
