1997 S500 3rd brake light in Spoiler

I have a 1997 S500 Sedan that has a spoiler on the top of the trunk lid. The lens fell out and I have been going nuts looking for a replacement. I think it was a Dealer Installation. The lights are LED and the lens is a bout 25.5 inches long x .5 inches high. It looks like the LED lights and lens were adhered together at one time, but weather, etc. broke the bond.
I cannot find any markings that would suggest who manufactured it unless I remove it. Where the spoiler turns down towards the trunk lid, it seems to turn forward with a taper into a blunt point. Make sense?

Anyone have a lead on either obtaining a new lens or fabrication something red to fill the hole?
Thanks

Not that easy in knowing what the lamp was from as after market.

If a mercedes part was used,,, then I just wander around the dealers with a tape measure till I find the right one, the note the VIN number

I'd just yank the spoiler off and be done with it.
