Transmission Dipstick

I have a 2001 CLK 430 & a 2002 ML 500. Both have the M113 V8 engine. I'm wondering if a tranny dipstick will fit both transmissions or will I need 1 for each car? Didn't see any part numbers in EPC. Thanks.

Dipstick sell on ebay for like $15.
Pay attention about the seller location. Those from other continents take few days to get here.

Just so you understand, there is no dipstick available for these transmissions.

There is, however, a dipstick TOOL that is used to measure the fluid level, after which it is removed and the cap replaced. It is recommended that you fit a new locking tab after replacing the cap, they are very inexpensive online.

If you'd like to learn a bit more about your transmissions, may I suggest reading through the 722.6xx thread in the W210 forum stickies? Great info in there.

Good luck.
