Post Important Question regarding Maintenance 2011 C300 . Please Read.

So I recently bought a 2011 C300 Sport sedan from a dealer , they made me sign odometer paper saying its 36K miles , the cars odometer switch was not functioning so I could not tell , finally managed to use the steering button and found it says 39000 miles! ****** up ... Now that the car is nearing 40k miles , I assume that it is due for services such as Trans flush , brake fluid flush and so on ? I found a independent Car maintenance place but they said I need a Dealer key to do the Flush? do I need a seperate key for all these things? and also how much am I looking at ?

Any insight on this situation would help . thanks in advance !

Wake up Ike!!

He did not say odometer button he said steering button.

That is one of the steering wheel buttons that changes the info in the gauge cluster.

Where did he say that? More importantly, if he had a malfunction tthat affected the odometer, why did he:

1. Accept the odometer disclosure without being able to verify it?

2. Not have them fix it under warranty?

@flyboyike the whole process was done fast , I did match it with the odometer reading printed on the Carfax and autocheck with VIN number both said 36 k miles , but the car actually as 39 k miles on it . You know the lil rolling pin by odometer to check it ? thats whats not working . I later figured out how to read it and it said 39 k .
my luck , but my question is about Dealer Key for Transmission flush and other flushes like brake and steering ! Can Anyone tell me is there a seperate key that needs to be purchased or Its one key ? thanks!
