Hi,
I think you should go to the shop or meet to dealer. The dealer will guide you better.

Could anyone please recommend a quailty oil pump to extract the engine oil out of the dipstick for a CLS 550 07.

The mityvac 7201 is good. I have one but I prefer the griot garage pneumatic pump. It is smaller and needs a compressor but it has worked well for me.

I on other hand appreciate 5 minutes of exercise with hand Mityvac. (you can skip the gym that day)
All the power items tend to break faster than manual counterparts and getting air cylinder failure 1/2 way into oil change can sure ruin your day.

For genuine MB parts, you can try oediscountparts.com.
They provide a lot of diagrams for you to identify the right parts.

Also Auto Parts - Parts.com, For Every Part of Your Life for great genuine MB parts prices.

As far as OEM replacements use a price search engine and stay away from parts branded Uro, Hamburg Technic and a lot of eBay stuff.
If you are not sure ask and people will let you know.

One example I have is that I needed an alternator for my W211. It was over $1000 at the dealer. $700 at parts.com and Amazon had the new Bosch unit for $279. When I get it out of the Bosch box from Amazon it even had the same MB part number and logo on the plastic cover that is at the back of the alternator. So even Amazon is a place to check. Bosch O2 sensors are very little money at Amazon also.

I'd second parts.com -- they ship from MB dealers.
eBay is hopeless; more money than the dealer oftentimes
