Kph to Celsius on Display

Hi all,

I've searched on the forum but canít find any definitive answers so thought Iíd ask again to see if I can get to the bottom of this.

I have a UK A160 CDI and because of this fact I am not currently able to change the display to show the outside temperature as apparently all European cars must show the outside speed. Not only must it show the speed but it must also be shown in kph, not in mph!

I would like to know if there is a method to force the display to show the outside temperature rather that the speed. If it helps I have direct access to STARS diagnostics kit.

Regards

Mitch

I don't know about A, but in my E I have been doing that with wheel buttons at 80 mph.
Do you have manual?

I have a manual yes but remember I'm in the UK and supposedly all European Mercs must display the road speed in kph and cannot change this to mph, nor the outside temperature. I want to circumvent this to show the outside temperature or at a minimum show the speed in mph.

On mine it's in the 'instrument' section of settings, it gives the option of 'speed' or 'temperature' for the display.
