Purchase Opinion

Hi everyone, first time poster; long time lurker.

The G-Wagon bug bit me sometime ago. Looking to pull the trigger on a used G Wagon sometime this summer. I'd be coming from a fully custom 2004 Nissan 350z; one I put a lot of personal style and work into. But, it's time to step it up a bit.

With that being said I'm looking at pre 06' models due to price (sub $45K for the most part.) - Question; would it be even worth purchasing a model within that year range or should I hold out a few more years and grab a newer model?

My main concerns are repairs and extensive maintenance; this will be my daily driver.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
