I drive a 300sd my mileage if 100% interstate is 32 mpg, around 27 city

1999 s320. and 83 300sd quit driving,people make me nervous

How do you find the md diesel as a driver - do you have issues with cold weather starting? Is the diesel intrusive either w/noise or odor?

MB Diesels had break trough technology in early 1990's for US market
The 300DT that come here in 1998 is very powerful, non-smoking and very economical engine that is truly million mile engine with no weak points.
CDI that come in 2005 is 21 century technology and those engines will start in subzero temperatures just fine.
I keep eye on electric cars as they make lot of sense for commute and I live close to Tesla plant. The big Teslas are really impressive cars -looking good, roomy and beating Corvette at green light.
But lately we had 2 reported accidents when Teslas burn down to the ground after hitting a pole. No firefighter will come to high-voltage fire.
