Steering column adjusting motors, anyone recogni

Hi All

I have a 2011 W221 S550 suffered water damage, all the 12v bosh motors were screwed. I manage to ressurect the 8 that were under the seats by stripping them down, cleaning the rust off, cleaning the inner contacts, lubing them and reassembling them.

However, the 2 under the steering wheel I cannot fix, they have some extra parts inside that I cannot identify. I am resigned to buying replacements. Stealership wants $200 each for them which is an outrage.

I found a w221 column for $400 but the seller does not want to sell these adjusting motors separately even for $150.

I'm sure these motors must also fit other mercedes models but cannot tell which ones even through searching on ebay, part number is 2214600225 and 2214600325, I only need the bare motor with the gear on the end, not other attachments.

If anyone recognizes this from other models, please let me know and I'll hunt for that cheaper column, for example I can buy R350 column for $150 delivered.

thanks

Terry
